What we collect

Quote forms ask for what a comparison genuinely needs: your name and date of birth, contact details, address or vehicle lookups, and the product-specific questions that move your price. Nothing is collected out of curiosity, and no field is optional-but-really-required.

How it is stored

• Answers are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they touch storage, and stay encrypted at rest.
• Your saved quote is identified only by a random code like AB7D-23XK. That code is the single key to the data: there are no accounts and no name-based lookup.
• Saved quotes are deleted automatically when they expire, not archived.
• Form contents are never written to application logs.

Analytics

Analytics events carry event names and counts only: that a step was completed, or how many results were viewed. The text of your answers never reaches analytics, and no third-party scripts run on any page where you type personal details.

Your choices

Because there are no accounts, deleting your data is simple: let a saved quote expire, or ask us to remove it using your reference code. Without the code, nothing can be retrieved by anyone, including us.

On a live service

A production comparison service shares your answers with chosen providers so they can price real quotes. That disclosure, the lawful basis for it, retention periods and your rights would be documented in full here on a live service.
